Uga Drava was born in Latvia, Graduated Art Academy of Riga and since 1984 lives and works in Canada. He created the Fonthill Sculpture garden and now has his studio in the historic town of Niagara On The Lake. The style of Uga Drava's work in bronze and granite could be described as an 'organic pattern-recognizing'. The size of his works range from the 'art in hand" size medals to substantial public outdoor pieces. Trained in classic traditional and representative sculpture he also accepts commissions for unique personal portraits and three dimensional reproductions in practically any size.
